Are you a Gloversville High School alumnus interested in serving as a mentor for current GHS students?

“Countless numbers of our students have graduated Gloversville High School and gone on to be leaders and innovators locally and beyond. It’s our intention to create a program so our alumni can be a resource offering inspiration and advice to our current students as they explore college and career possibilities.”
- Michael B. Vanyo , Ph.D
GESD Superintendent

About Us:

Glove to Glove is a program designed to help dismantle some of the barriers to career exploration, preparation, and planning that exist within the unique lives of students in Gloversville, New York. It strives to accomplish its mission by connecting Gloversville High School (GHS) students with Gloversville Enlarged School District alumni—men and women who have faced the same obstacles as current students and now have successful careers. The goal of this connection, and the hope of Glove to Glove, is that by witnessing the career success of alumni, GHS students will believe themselves capable of future career success too. Inspiration from glove to glove.

“By witnessing the career success of alumni who have walked the very same school halls as they have, I hope that GHS students will realize that they, too, are capable of pursuing their passions and finding career success.”
